• Google Analytics – Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Pseudonymous statistics on how our website is used: pages viewed, time on site, device, approximate location and referring website. Stored for up to 14 months.
• Google Ads – Google Ireland Limited. Measures whether our ads lead to purchases or downloads and lets us show ads to previous visitors. Conversion cookies expire after 90 days.
• Meta Pixel – Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Records page views and purchases to measure and optimise our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may link this to your account. Cookies expire after 90 days.
• YouTube – Google Ireland Limited. When an embedded video loads, your browser connects to YouTube, which learns which page you visited, may set cookies and can link the visit to your account.
• SoundCloud – SoundCloud Global Limited & Co. KG, Rheinsberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany. When an embedded audio player loads, your browser connects to SoundCloud, which learns which page you visited and may set cookies.

Necessary data

• Server log files – our hosting provider processes your IP address, time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system to deliver the website and keep it secure.
• Consent cookie – stores your choice in the cookie banner for 12 months.
• Visitor statistics (WP Statistics) – visit counts stored on our own server and not shared with third parties.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, § 25(2) TDDDG).

When you get in touch or buy

Newsletter, contact and purchases

• Newsletter – your email address is stored with Mailchimp (Intuit Inc. / The Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA; certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) to send you product news, until you unsubscribe via the link in every newsletter. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Details: Intuit privacy statement.
• Contact form, email and comments – we use the details you send us (name, email address, message) to answer your request or publish your comment, and delete enquiries once they are settled. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
• Purchases – checkout, trials and licence keys for our desktop software run via Oudio (Tim Bencker, Wielandstraße 4, 04177 Leipzig, Germany); payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland. Your name, email address, country and payment data are processed to complete the order; we never see your full card details. Invoice data is kept as long as tax law requires (up to 10 years). Our mobile apps are sold by Apple and Google in their stores. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR. Details: Oudio, Stripe.

Your rights

Access, deletion and complaints

You have the right to access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future.
